I'm not positive, but it just looks off for a siskin! Maybe a mockingbird?

BridgetAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18141398825654710067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283551717221785048.post-33011230713105128722015-04-06T20:41:26.095-05:002015-04-06T20:41:26.095-05:00Hi Krishna!

Yeah, it always helps if your house is located along a major flyway :) It's amazing how many birds that are exhausted from flying thousands of miles will find a suburban yard to rest and refuel.Katie Boordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09614072371382246283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283551717221785048.post-18999840956648278142014-03-12T22:29:05.101-05:002014-03-12T22:29:05.101-05:00When I first found out that someone had 200+ speci...When I first found out that someone had 200+ species in their yard, I was pretty sure they were insane! Now, with around 115 species from our yard located in a crowded surburban neighborhood, I'm beginning to believe they may be right. 80% or more of the species seen from our yard have been sighted because our house is litterally located right on the Mississippi flyway. Anyway, hope you have more great yard/neighborhood birds to come.Chloe Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11916243588710031739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283551717221785048.post-36740763933115739152014-01-03T18:04:19.121-06:002014-01-03T18:04:19.121-06:00Wow, cool! :)Wow, cool! :)Katie Boordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09614072371382246283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283551717221785048.post-4606748652708909362014-01-01T20:03:52.452-06:002014-01-01T20:03:52.452-06:00I got a camera too! I'm really sorry to hear that!
That happened once to my family a couple years ago one night all of our 2 dozen plus chickens vanished, there were feathers everywhere but no sign of what or how the animal got in except a spot where the fence was pushed down, then I assume it went in through the door. It's pretty hard to guess what could kill and carry away that many of our chickens which were full grown though we always thought it was raccoons :)
Holly~ from Flickr

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-283551717221785048.post-41581011618558219842013-04-29T17:29:50.475-05:002013-04-29T17:29:50.475-05:00Hi Katie,
